I was reading the most recent letter and heard that no cancer was found. I also read the letter from a few days earlier asking for prayers for a miracle of the blood work coming back negative- no cancer would be found. The letter also said that this would be "virtually impossible". However, God worked a miracle!

It is beautiful to see God's hand at work on your behalf! I am so thankful that you can take such wonderful comfort in the Lord and really experience His peace and rest. How easy it is to picture God's love and care for us when we watch the tender, loving care that sweet Sydney is receiving from such God-centered parents. Thank you for that picture of faith. I am continuing to lift you all up! Truly our HELP comes from the Lord!

Lynette and James Thanks so much for keeping us all updated and for encouraging us through your faithfulness during this difficult time. We are praising God with you for these amazing test results! Next week and then the last full week of July Camp John Marc will be full of kids just like Sydney who are fighting and surviving cancer. They ride horses, climb the ropes course, make crafts...just like any other kid at summer camp. They are all inspriations to us, just as your family and your faithfulness are. Keep fighting the good fight and running to the Lord in times of unsurety. We are praying for each of you!

Lynette, In my prayer time this morning, I was thinking of a precious mom I know who said that she remembered that during the most difficult moments of walking with her own daughter's battle with cancer, she felt the comfort of God's presence in such a powerful way that she could almost feel His breath on her cheek. That is my prayer for all of you as you begin the next part of this journey. I have been thinking of a mother's love and this verse in the amplified comes to mind as I think of you. Love bears up under anything and everything that comes, is ever ready to believe the best of every person, its hopes are fadeless under all circumstances, and endures everything (without weakening). 1 Cor. 13:7 His love is bearing you up as you do the same for Sydney. Much love!
