Dear Lynette and James,
I'm almost ashamed to tell you how much we cling to your updates. We pour over your letters and find comfort in your amazing faith. We should be encouraging you and your family but instead you are encouraging us all. God is so clearly in your words - He is truly glorified.
We continue to pray specifically from your prayer requests and appreciate being part of "Sydney's Prayer Team." Thank you for sharing your intimate trials and joys.
In His Love, Mary Lamar

Dear Lynette, James and Sydney, Know that we think of you often and are praying for you daily. I also want you to know how encouraging your postings have been to me; I am constantly reminded, through them, of the Lord's hand in yours and our lives. And the time that you take out of your days to write has been a blessing. Our family will continue to pray to the Sovereign, Merciful, Perfect and Holy God of the Universe for Sydney and the rest of your family. Love, Marlyn

"The Lord is near" is the sentence from the Phillipians Bible verse that touched my heart Sunday. What a comfort to know that Jesus is in that hospital room with you-all. What love you-all are sharing! It's wonderful to have to have the internet so that you know that others are as "near" as possible! May God's love sustain you and comfort you through each minute of the day!

I found out about Sydney via Sharon and Laurie. I check the website every day to get an update. What a brave little girl. I have a daughter who just turned 8 and I can't even imagine what you all are going through. God does give us strength. Please know that I pray for Syd all the time.
