Dear Lynnette, James, and Sydney,

Mark and I have kept up with you daily through this website. If there is not a new entry, we read an old one. Please know that there are many prayers being sent your way from Durango! We realize how critical this week will be, so we are praying for complete healing. Miracles happen every day and we are expecting one on the 13th. Thank you for taking the time to keep everyone up-to-date. We look forward to our "sydney time" every day! We hope you will be spending a much needed vacation in Durango next summer and that the gorgeous scenery that God has given us will bring you peace and healing. Sincerely, Anne and Mark

You don't know me and that's okay. I received an email from Michael of the TNT program. I read about how Sydney is managing her battle and am touched by the strength she shows in the pictures through her beautiful smile. I donated blood last month at our church here in Staten Island but will donate again in honor of the battle that she is fighting. I will also lift her name up in prayer to the Lord at church tomorrow and encourage the children in Sunday school to do the same. May God's blessings rain upon you and strenghten you all. One Love, Peace - Carol

Dear Ones,
Please know that each of you continue to be in my ongoing thoughts. While I have been a poor correspondent with you, I have been keeping up with Little Sydney's progress through our dear mutual friend, Sue Justice. I'll continue to pray for each of you and Little Sydney's healing.
Please do not answer this email...you have way too mcuh to do. May God bless each of you and keep you always, most especially during this very, very difficult time.

Lynette & family,

I think about you all daily and am continually lifting you up in prayer--especially during the late night/early morning hours. I pray for your continued peace and Sydney's comfort. But most of all for a MIRACLE! I have our community in North Carolina praying for you all. Sending you hugs.

Lynette and James,
We have somehow gotten off track and have not been updating ourselves on Sydney's condition and we are pounded after reading your recent reports and reviewing your journey. I have had occasions where I think about Syndey and say a short blurb of a prayer which, in retrospect, are so insignificant when now I read your specific prayer requests. Strange, but now that I see the information in front of me I'm flooded with emotion at where to begin. But many times in the Bible the Lord takes His people on a retrospective to recall where they have come. He shows them what He has done for them, and reminds them who they are, and WHO'S they are. I am thankful for that reassurance and for His perspective which is fresh and "new every morning."
I recall a letter James wrote about being apprehensive to go back to N.Y. and then later you encountered among friends a young mother who, with the voice of an angel, sang with you as you shared with one another your hopes and fears. Do you hear the stanzas of "O Little Town of Bethlehem" come to mind? They remind me of such darkness, yet the flicker of everlasting light!!! I am making it a point to pray and sing that song for Syndney and your family. I guess because that night in Bethlehem there had been a long journey, many questions, finding a place to go and stay; followers of a hopeful light, great pain, but then, great joy! Yet, in the midst of it all...stillness and peace.
Austin told me that he has seen Jack and Nick at Alethia on Sunday evenings at PCPC. There is a retreat coming up in January in the Texas hill country for them which I signed he and Parker up for. Please consider it if you haven't already. We are so glad they are having fellowship with one another although they are in different schools now.

Love in Christ,
Arlene

Hey you guys. I know you have had a visitor from Dallas and I hope it as been a happy and peaceful visit. I pray that everyday you have moments of peace and happiness. I know it is very cold in New York and maybe you will get to see a white Christmas. That would be so cool!! As the 13th approaches our prayers are doubled that the transplant will go well. You have all been such incredible examples of grace under fire and have brought fame to our Lord here on earth. It would be amazing if each of us could say as much. Take Care, we think of you everyday. Much
Love, Dee Ann
